Open Forum

At conference this year, I heard a great presentation ( Session # 131 – Advocacy ) , with a  " take away message " that if AAACN members ( 5000 + strong) were to spend 10 minutes contacting their State and Federal political representatives about issues that matter to us all ( ie, Sensible Gun Legislation, Women's Reproductive Rights , Safe Water supply ) our collective voices can make a difference.  We ADVOCATE every day in our professional lives for many people and processes – This is another avenue of  advocacy  for the health of our country.......and can be done in 10 minutes!  

You can find your Representatives at CONGRESS.GOV ( Federal ) and State ( search State Representatives from your state)   The message can be simple-( via  Email, phone call , letter ) and still be impactful .
