    Hello all, I am hoping to learn how practices conduct annual competency reviews  - who does them ? Our practices are geographically spread out and we rely on clinical people within each office to confirm competency on one another. We are a small organization with a big foot print and do not have a formal Education Dept. for "offsite" practices. We rely on clinical supports in each office to conduct to annual reviews. Thoughts? Suggestions?

    Hi Tracy,

     

    We are also spread out.  We meet with one representative from each clinic and go through the competency grouping for that quarter.  They go through the education and competency with our Clinical Practice Team and then go through the competency with each member of their clinical staff.  We do not have support from our Educational Services department to do this.  Hope that helps.
