What is the best way to prepare for the board exam? I have read through
Nurse Ambulatory Care: Board and Certification Review
StatPearls Publishing LLC, Kim Culross, Lynn Belsanti, Tia Bell
and went through all the questions. I have taken some other practice quizzes but they are so short it's hard to tell if they are accurate determinations of my readiness to take the exam.

Any advice and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you!
    Ali

    Hi Alison,
Congratulations on your quest to become Ambulatory Care Nurse Board Certified!  We have several resources available- hoping between these recommendations and some input from our members- you'll be well on your way!

My biggest suggestion would be to use the Ambulatory Review Questions and the Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing.  We do offer it as a bundle to save our members some money but it's also available separately if you want to start with one or the other.

The Ambulatory Care Certification Review Course is a helpful resource. If you can wait about 2 weeks, we'll have the newest course recording from the 2022 Annual Conference available. It'll be offered at the same price as the current one and will include the new Syllabus in PDF format. We'll send an email out to let you know when it's available.

As a reminder- AAACN members receive a $100 discount on the exam through ANCC

Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions - good luck!

    Hi Alison,
I completed my certification last year and use the two resources that Jennifer below suggested, nothing else :)
    Thank you, and good luck!
