Hello,

I am developing a diabetes education program for recognition through CMS. Does anyone that uses Epic know what visit type to use to bill for DSMT services? I have billing department saying nurse visit but nurse visits are built to not collect payment or co-pay. 

Any insight provided is much appreciated.

Ours are clinical RD (Registered Dietician) visits. Most of our CDE's in clinic are RDs with the exception of one CNS which we have never had before. We are building her visits under the APP umbrella. Hope this helps!
