    Is anyone addressing the problem of  documentation burden in AMB settings? My hospital system is addressing this issue, but the changes involve primarily inpatient areas.

    Since the inception of our latest EMR my department has been drowning in increased documentation demands.

    Sadly ambulatory care is the last to receive help with documentation In the electronic medical record. I am familiar with Epic, and many of our nurses have developed their own smart phrases to help reduce the Burden of documentation.

    I have recently had to learn Cerner and have yet to figure their process out.
