The FQHC SIG is launching a project to develop a FQHC Nurse Toolkit! The Toolkit will be designed with three aims in mind:
- Serve as a reference on key topics for FQHC nurses and leadership
- Create a framework for strategic plan proposals for nursing roles in the FQHC setting
- Raise awareness of the nuances and unique qualities of FQHCs, including rules FQHCs must comply with that don't apply to other practice areas
We're seeking volunteers interested in working on this publication. We'll be meeting weekly, starting this Friday, 7/10 at 12 pm ET to jumpstart the project (meeting link here). Our goal is to make enough progress to submit an abstract for the 2027 AAACN Annual Conference by the deadline on 8/14/26.
