Hello!  Is anyone aware of a book for in patient triage?  Similar to telephone nurse triage (ieSchmitt Thomson Protocols) but in person.  We are looking to use for our urgent care settings.  Do you use protocols in this environment?  If no book to purchase, did you create your own?

We use ClearTriage for this purpose as well as telephone triage. It requires a little more nursing judgement (some of the questions apply differently), but the idea is the same. I have been told that the "after hours" ClearTriage package has more protocols, but is a little more expensive.
