Our organization did about the same as Quiana, but not the text blast. When a patient calls to schedule an appointment, the scheduler invites them to sign up. Then when they arrive for the appointment, the desk clerk checks if they signed up and if not, invite them to sign up - even helping them if needed. When the MA rooms the patient, he/she also reminds them of the MyChart advantages, and again, will help patient sign up.

I am in a workgroup with the goal of increasing patient participation in MyChart. I would first like to benchmark what the current patient usage is in relation to total patient volume.
