The first edition launched, NCPDs for two articles are available in the online library. Access JACN

Collaboration with Vizient:

The AAACN and Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™️collaboration was announced during their conference in Orlando this month. Stephanie attended and represented AAACN. 

 

The Telehealth and NSI SIGs:

These SIGs held networking calls, with recordings available in their online libraries.

 

SIG Advisory and networking Calls:

These have transitioned to TEAMS, eliminating registration for networking calls to boost participation.

 

History TF: 
Achieved and exceeded goal of 50 interviews completed! 
The 3 Hall of Fame Award recipients have been notified 
History Publication: all chapters have been submitted

Advocacy Committee:
Offering a free webinar in June for members with speaker Portia Zaire on "The Power of Nurses' Voices" to capitalize on enthusiasm generated at conference
Press Release going out soon

Inclusion & Belonging Committee:
Call for volunteers yielded 10 volunteers
Survey received 130 responses to guide upcoming webinars and other education

Publications Committee:
Call for volunteers yielded 11 volunteers

Core Revision TF:
Authors have all been determined, notified, and have been sent author packets/agreements from Editorial.
Previous reviewers who have maintained membership will be asked to return (right of first refusal); applicants for author who were not selected have been given opportunity to become reviewers; a call for volunteers will go out soon to fill the gaps.

Review Questions Revision TF:
Congrats & regrets have been sent out; kickoff meeting to happen this month

Telephone Triage Course GAP: A current GAP added 100 users for $27,900. For the first quarter of 2025, we have 12 new TTC GAPS for $78,017 (this does not include current GAPs who have added additional users).

Strive For Five Membership Campaign:

Launches April 15, running for five months. Recruit five members and earn prizes, with the top recruiter receiving a free year of membership.

It's inspiring to see so many initiatives moving forward with such momentum. Congratulations to the History Task Force for exceeding your interview goal and all the Hall of Fame Award recipients. What a meaningful milestone in preserving and honoring our collective story.

The move to TEAMS for SIG networking calls is a great decision to foster more engagement, and I'm excited to dive into the Telehealth and NSI recordings. Also, huge kudos to the Inclusion & Belonging and Publications Committees for the successful volunteer responses-those numbers speak volumes about our members' passion for shaping the future.

Looking forward to the "Power of Nurses' Voices" webinar in June and the new opportunities in the Core Revision and TTC GAPs. The growth in the Telephone Triage Course is stimulating and reflects the continued value of what we offer.

I appreciate the strides made and cheer everyone on as the Strive for Five campaign launches next week! Let's grow this community together.
