Annual Conference: Registration is now open for the 2025 Annual Conference. An eblast to announce opening registration will be sent on Saturday and watch for a postcard coming soon in your next edition of ViewPoint or Journal.
The Inclusion and Belonging Committee: Completed a DEIB Toolkit and a position statement on the DEIB implications of workplace violence; both will be reviewed by the Publications Committee. Currently evaluating DEIB Scholarship applications (4 total).
SIGs: Telehealth and NSI SIGs held networking calls. Recordings can be found in the online library for each SIG.
New Member Orientation: The call was held on November 20, and 7 attendees joined the call. The call is held every 3rd Wednesday of the month. No need to register, any member can join to learn more about their member benefits, and how to navigate the website, online communities, and online library. Join the Call.
Core Curriculum Call for Volunteers: Received 33 applications; those selected will supplement the existing selected authors so the writing can begin.
Telehealth Standards Revision Task Force: Tabitha Anglea, Editor, Elizabeth Wright (Co-Editor), and Sherrie Bragg (Publications Committee Liaison) are currently reviewing their applicants to select their final roster.
Review Questions Revision Task Force: Co-Editors Lilly Klomsten and Monica Mount and Publications Committee Liaison, Ray Snider are currently reviewing their applicants to select their final roster.
History Task Force: Task Force Co-Chairs Stephanie Witwer & Cynthia Murray and Team Leads Deb Cox, Kitty Shulman, Terrie Hemman, & Deena Gilland will determine the first recipient of the AAACN Hall of Fame Award, to be announced at the 2025 conference and 45 Past Presidents, Past Board members, and other long-term members have completed history interviews; planning to conduct at least 5 more to meet the goal of 50.
