Does anyone in a nurse advice line gather patient satisfaction data? If so, how do you gather this data? Is it a post call survey, text message sent to a patient, or email?

Hi Julie - We are just finishing the set up of a post call survey for our Nurse Advice Line Department.  We worked with Press Ganey for this and you can do either email or text; we are choosing text to the caller (patient may not have been the person who spoke with our nurses).  We are starting the surveys in November.

    Hi Everyone,

We just stopped our post-call surveys for our pediatric telephone triage service. We had a simple three question yes/no survey that would go to some of the callers post contact with one of our triage nurses via a text. We were using Survey Monkey as our provider. Our response rate has dwindled to nothing this year. Our facility has stopped using Survey Monkey and we are looking at developing a new way to survey how we are doing for our customers. I'm glad this thread was started!

    How do you elicit participation?

    Thanks,

    Andrea

    Hi Ms. Wendy.

I'm very interested in your process and what questions you have in the lineup.  I started the process via Survey Monkey, but it was manual and time consuming.  We are looking for a more "automated" option and this sounds intriguing.

I would also like to see it and any other advice for use of Press Ganey.  Thanks!
