We utilize sitters from our home health staff to sit with patients in our acute care hospital. The patients have failed a virtual sitter and it is necessary to have an in person sitter with them.
Does anyone have guidelines that are used for sitter needs? Perhaps a checklist to use if the patient meets criteria for a sitter?
Thank you.
