Hello!

I am the director over a large primary care clinic and medical specialties ambulatory clinics. We are working on assessing our current staffing. I was wondering if anyone knows of any national staffing standards to follow when assessing if you have the appropriate amount of fte\resources?

We created a Clinical Staffing Tool for our Ambulatory/Outpatient clinics using data analysis, Carol Rutenberg's Art and Science of Telephone Triage, and internal studies. The attached was presented at AAACN Conference Spring 2023.
