Do any ambulatory clinics out there implement task shifting, where tasks and procedures normally done by an APP or MD are shifted to trained nurses, to increase access?

I'm working on an evidence-based project involving task shifting, and I'm curious to hear what others are doing, how it's working out, and if you're able to get fair Medicare reimbursement (among other things).

    Hi Kristin,

I have a contact at UNC who is really involved in getting nurses trained to perform urodynamic studies. If you are interested in connecting with her let me know and I will make an introduction!
