  • 1.  Urology-Intravesical Gemcitabine

     Hello, 

    We recently onboarded a urologist in our specialty clinics. I am trying to sort my way through the intravesical office treatment with gemcitabine. 
    I'm wondering if anyone has any resources for proper delivery protocols for instillation in an ambulatory clinic setting? 
    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    In addition to the resources posted in the thread, consider asking the urologist what protocols were in place / used at their previous institution; and if those can be shared.

    Hi Alicia- I am currently working on something similar. I have found that the referenced resources are helpful, but not entirely comprehensive when it comes to the actual procedure of instilling the medication, managing immediate issues, etc. Were you able to create a procedural checklist for this that you could share with me?  Thank you!
