I am reaching out regarding the submission of CPTII quality codes in claims to close the controlling blood pressure and other measures outside of a visit.
Currently, our billing system does not support sending quality codes outside of a visit, whether face-to-face or telehealth, due to our billing system's current requirement for a CPT code. Our team is eager to find a solution and we need assistance in understanding how other systems manage these claims.
We are seeking insights from other health systems on how data is being submitted. This information will be invaluable in helping our revenue cycle team develop a viable solution. Our main questions is whether payors are receiving only a CPTII code from other hospital systems without any additional claim data e.g. ICD10, CPTI codes?
