Denise Ervin is a clinician, educator, and well-being advocate with over 26 years of healthcare experience. She currently serves as the Nurse Leader for Resilience and Well-being at Michigan Medicine, where she partners with nursing leaders and institutional teams to implement evidence-based strategies that strengthen individual and system-level nurse resilience, emotional well-being, and social support, enhancing both workforce engagement and patient care.
Denise is also an adjunct nursing faculty member at the University of Michigan and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Innovation and Leadership from the University of Minnesota, where her doctoral work focused on the recovery and well-being of nurse leaders.
A passionate advocate for sustainable work environments and work-life integration, Denise brings a whole-person, evidence-informed approach to leadership and organizational well-being. She is a published author with the American Nurses Association, a frequent conference speaker, and an active member of ANA, currently serving as Chair of the Nurse Practice Committee for the ANA–Michigan Chapter.
