Rocquel Crawley is the Ambulatory Care, Director of Nursing and Operations at VCU Medical Center. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Lynchburg College, a Masters of Business Administration from Averett University, and a Doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Dr. Crawley is a graduate fellow of the Virginia Nursing Leadership Institute. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Advanced, Nurse Executive. Dr. Crawley was recognized in 2011, as one of the Top 40 under 40 nursing leaders in Virginia.
Dr. Crawley is a member of the American Nurses Association, Virginia Nurses Association, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses,
Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and serves as a Board of Director for the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN).
Dr. Crawley has served as President and Vice- President of Virginia Nurses Association-District 5. She has served as Chair of the Membership Committee for Virginia Nurses Association, Chair and Co-Chair of AAACN Telehealth SIG and served as editor of the AAACN Telehealth Managers Toolkit.
Dr. Crawley enjoys traveling, going to plays, making gift baskets and spending time with family and friends.
