AAACN Certification

    Good morning everyone,

I hope everyone is doing great . I am in need of some guidance, unfortunately I failed the exam but I'm still fired up to keep trying. Failed it by only 3 points ‍♀️ The sections I scored low on were professional role & education, and I was wondering if there's any particular books or online resources that provide questions specifically focusing on these sections? I already have  & completed review question book from AAACN, Karen Danvers-Perez, Mometrix & completed SEVERAL quiz let exams.
And I did extremely well on all these tests. So not sure how to proceed from here because I don't want to review all the same material. Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

Thanks so much & have a blessed day!!

I took the test this past fall and found the review class extremely helpful. I also focused on the scope and standards.

    Regards, Terri

    Hi Naomi,
I'm so sorry to hear that you missed the exam by three point! :(.    We had a Community Live Call about taking the test and tips/tricks in the last few months and members are finding it very helpful.  There is a recording of the call as well the chat that you can access.

Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help. Good luck.

I haven’t taken my test but I will take it as many times as I need too.
Relax you know the information. Remember it’s like the boards ….2 are wrong…1 answer better than the other one. ….
You will pass on your next try.
    Good Luck & God bless

Thank you Jennifer!!!! Very kind and reassuring words. I truly appreciate it. As a matter of fact, I feel exactly the same, that I will take it as many times as I have too as well.

    Hi,
I took the test today and passed. I can tell you I used the same items you did. I did have a review course that was offered where I worked. I can tell you. The test I took had several questions on Asthma, Diabetes, H pylori and cardiac. Hope that helps!

If you don't have the AAACN study book I would recommend getting it and focusing on the chapters that revolve around those topics. There were definitely things in the book that I otherwise would not have found in the review questions or the mometrix review tests.
