AAACN NURSING CERTIFICATION TEST

    Good afternoon, 

    I am in the process of studying & preparing for AAACN nursing certification test on April 22. I've have been reviewing several test questions and have read the ambulatory care core curriculum 4th Ed and scope and standards. I've read the core curriculum twice. I am still completing review questions as many as I can on daily basis. Is there any other guidance or review material anyone can offer me? I would certainly appreciate any guidance anyone can provide.

    I am currently doing the online certification review course because I want to give myself all the passing score opportunity. Certification is good for five years, and I am gaining and relearning some forgotten concepts. I feel the money spent is worthwhile. Thanks for your feedback because, I now realize that I am not the only one concerned.  Feel like my NCLEX experience.

    Where are you doing practice questions? I have the AAACN practice questions book as well as the Mometrix one but would like as many practice questions as possible!

    I just took mine on Friday and passed! I used the AAACN review questions and the Ambulatory questions on Quizlet (I think this was the most useful & its free). I do have the AAACN core book but only used it to look up a few concepts. I just kept going over  30-50 questions everyday for 2 weeks. I think you are well prepared!! Good luck!

    Congratulations!!!! This is awesome! Can you please guide me where you found the AAACN questions? Or are you referring to the book of review questions? If yes, I have that book too.  Also in regards to the quizlet I tried looking this up but I'm getting charged. Do you recommend the review course?

    I believe Angela has provided the quizlet link. That's also the same one I used for my studies. You can type "ambulatory nurse cert" in the search bar on the top right corner of quizlet to find some other ones. 

    As for the book, yes, I was referring to the AAACN. I took it once, reviewed the questions/concepts I got wrong, and took it again about a week later to make sure i was retaining the information I learned the first time and not just memorizing the answers. I never took the review course so I am not sure. But, I think if you have a a couple years of ambulatory nursing exp and review the questions (paying attention the wording on questions) you will do just fine :)
