Hi Ralene,
I am also studying on my own. I'm brand new to ambulatory care and mostly I'm on the phones for triage, at which I'm also brand new. So I need all the help I can get to learn overall ambulatory nursing and try to study for this test. I'd be more than happy to set up a study group with you and the other responders from this post. I am not planning on testing until after next years conference, so have the time to really learn.
Feel free to send a private message if you are interested.

Hi Trinity,
Is your study group open to newcomers? I am studying on my own right now and would love to join a group.
Best,
Ralene

I am looking for someone that has recently taken and passed the Ambulatory Care Certification Test and would be willing to share their experience. I host a study group and we would love to hear about the test taking experience, any studying or other tips for the test. The group meets every other Sunday from 1-3pm MST. We are using the AAACN books for studying but would love to hear about how it was to actually take the test. None of us are sure we are studying the right kind of materials and wonder if there is anything else we should be reviewing. If you would be willing to join one of our study group sessions to talk about your experience, please let me know.
Many thanks!
