Today, HRSA kicked off NHCW by releasing the new 2024 Uniform Data System (UDS) data showing HRSA-funded health centers served a record 32.4 million patients last year, an increase of 1.1 million patients. As they reflected on the past year's achievements, they shared a few key highlights from the newly released data. In 2024, health centers served:
- 25.1 million uninsured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients
- 1 in 8 children
- 1 in 5 people living in rural communities
- 1 in 15 patients 65 or older
- 408,000 veterans
