I am interested in learning how other organizations manage the workflow for incarcerated patients.
- Does your organization assign an incarcerated or forensic patient flag to the medical record in the EHR?
- If patient flags are applied, what is the process for determining the flag expiration date? Is a standard time frame applied (30/60/90 days from awareness)?
- What is the process for appointment reminders while the patient is incarcerated?
