    Do any of your nurses administer local anesthesia for your providers prior to minor procedures? Trying to get a policy and procedure made up and can't find a starting point with research or article journals.

    I'd like to share the Advisory Opinion from the Arizona State Board of Nursing. Obviously, it is specific to Arizona, but it is very helpful in that it provides what's in and out of scope, requirements for the nurse, specifics for the course of instruction, rationale and a whole list of recent references. The document was just updated in 2023. I hope you find it helpful!
