Medical Assistants pulling medications for procedures

    Good morning,

    We have recently had medical assistants in several of our clinics inquire about getting access to the pyxis to pull medications for providers doing procedures. For example, IUDs or Nexplanon for insertion, lidocaine for toenail removals, etc. I'm wondering if anyone out there is doing this and what types of policies/procedures you have in place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
