Pain reduction interventions for pediatric procedures

    Hello all,

I am hoping to learn if others routinely document the use of pain reducing interventions prior to injections or other procedures for pediatric patients?  Examples would be the use of topical vapocoolants (PainEase, Nums), oral sucrose (SweetEase, SweetUms), Buzzy the Bee (vibrating ice pack).  If you routinely document the use of these interventions, where are you doing so?  In a flowsheet?  Elsewhere?

    Thank you for sharing!
