Nursing professional identity involves looking at oneself and relationships with others, as well as the influences that result in how we think, act, and feel as nurses.
The purpose of this study is to describe ambulatory care nurses' perceptions of their professional identity in themselves and their peers.  The Professional Identity in Nursing Scale (PINS) will capture values and ethics, knowledge, leadership, and professionalism.

You are invited to complete a 5-10 minute anonymous survey for a study titled: Perceptions of Professional Identity in Nursing by Ambulatory Care Nurses

Seeking volunteers that meet these requirements:
    • Nurse (LPN, RN, APRN)
    • Identify as an ambulatory care nurse, regardless of their role or setting
The survey will be open until the end of October 2025. Questions should be directed to Dr. Susan Fowler at susan.fowler@mail.waldenu.edu
This research study has received university IRB approval and support from the AAACN research committee.
