Hello everyone,

I am a Nurse Manager in Outpatient Clinic here in Riyadh, KSA, Saudi German Hospital, we are in a project of revising our Job Description for RN in clinic setting, our current JD is mainly assisting the Physicians inside the clinic and has a lot of limitations. We would like to introduce new practices (evidence based) that will empower our RN's to go beyond their limitations and maximize their skills under the scope Nursing Practice. I am hoping if you can share some of your job descriptions and if you have any special job descriptions that allows RN to do practices independently without the supervisions of Physicians.

I attached several of our RN job descriptions for reference but we really create more protocols that allow our nurses to carry out tasks rather than putting that content in the job descriptions. Mainly that occurs with our triage and population health teams. Hope these are helpful.
