Hi all, I often see questions come up on this discussion board about ambulatory nurse leader span of control. This is a topic I can deeply about and am working on a research project to develop an instrument to measure nurse leader span of control that is specific to ambulatory leaders. There are other span of control instruments that have proven valuable in other settings, but this would be the first that would account for the unique facets of leading ambulatory areas. If you are a front line nurse leader of an ambulatory area please consider taking this survey to help with my research.
