  • 1.  Ambulatory Nurse Scientist - new exciting AAACN position!

    I am thrilled to share a key initiative of our strategic plan, building the infrastructure for AAACN to design, develop, and disseminate ambulatory nursing research. The initial step to accomplish this important goal is developing a new Nurse Scientist position. We are actively seeking candidates who will help lead these efforts. Some of the responsibilities of the nurse scientist will include:
    • Development and oversight of the research council
    • Oversight and pursuit of new research grant opportunities
    • Provide research topic educational offerings for members
    • Identify what initiatives and or topics need research and create plan to initiate.
    • Coordinate with existing task forces, writing groups, etc. to determine what may be publishable
