We're looking at the viability of offering Paracentesis procedures in an outpatient setting. 
Does anyone offer Abdominal Paracentesis in your Ambulatory setting? 
Are patients placed on cardiac monitoring during the length of the procedure?
What type of additional patient monitoring is completed? Is there any post-procedure monitoring followed?
Who does the monitoring: RNs or LVNs?
Any insight into this is much appreciated. Thank you!
