    Good Morning!
Anyone on here that works in an Anticoagulation Clinic or knows someone that does? I am looking to get further details on nurse to patient ratio, workflow etc.

    Thank you!

Hi at Concord internal medicine, I manage a nurse run Anticoagulation Clinic. Each nurse can be responsible for up to 350 patients. These patients are a mix of in office patients, home testers, labs, and VNA call ins. After completing a ton of research on this and finding a handful of articles, we deciding on that up to 350 patients is reasonable. When a nurse is managing over 375 patients, it can become very busy, overwhelming, unmanageable, and not safe. At this point, a manager then could argue for another nurse.

    I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reach out.

Good Morning.  At Advocate Aurora Health Medical Group, we have determined a panel size of up to 350 patients is the standard.  This was based on research we found.  We have also tried to leverage Epic for our workflows using smartsets and dot phrases.

Good Morning! Do you manage any DOAC's or LVAD patients? Also, how are you billing? Would you be interested in connecting via Zoom some time?
