Hello, I am looking for updated information on Abuse/Neglect/Sexual Assault screening. I reviewed previous posts on this topic and saw a response (2017) for outpatient clinics that follow the TJC standards for screening all patients. I am interested in updated information on the topic that might include ambulatory clinics that are not subject to TJC.
What benchmarks/goals are used?
Are certain types of visit types included/excluded? Example: Include new patient, routine office visit, etc. Exclude lab only visit, x-ray only visit, etc.
For positive screens are you referring to community resources? Have social workers available?
