We have a Medication Safety and Calculations packet with a test for all onboarding Ambulatory nurses. All nurses have to take it regardless if transferring from hospital or another office or wherever.
I can email it to you if you would like to review it?

Subject: Clinical Orientation Math Exam
Hello all,
I am curious if anyone requires their clinical staff to complete a math exam as part of their ambulatory onboarding process? If not, do you have a different process for verifying competence in dosage calculation or education surrounding medication safety?
Thank you in advance!
