Thanks Danielle! Can you tell us (Chris and I) if Epic Rover has to be configured differently from inpatient to be used in outpatient? How is the testing going!

Hi Chris,
We are in our planning and testing phase for adding bar code medication administration to our ambulatory sites (primary and urgent care and specialty clinics) and will be using Rover for meds. At this point, I am not certain we will be using for labs, but that would help a lot! From a cost perspective, I believe Rover on devices is more economical based on the number needed in our clinics.
Good luck!

Hello,
For those of you with EPIC EHR, do you use the ROVER app in your ambulatory settings for BCMA and/or specimen collection and labeling?
We are transitioning to EPIC in 2027 and are currently in the build state. We are trying to determine if we should roll out BCMA with scanners or if we should use ROVER.
Any feedback on why or why not would be appreciated.
Chris
