  • 1.  local anesthetic administration protocol/orders

    Does anyone have any guidance with regards to the administration of a local anesthetic by an RN or LPN? 

    • I would love to see if anyone has a protocol or order set created to provide specific administration guidelines so staff are within their scope of practice.
    • What are some existing workflows in dermatology/MOHS clinics for an RN or LPN for lidocaine administration?

    Any information would be greatly appreciated.
