Does anyone have a program in place for LPNs to level up and grow professionally? Maybe a clinical ladder program or job title advancement such as LPN I, II, senior? We are currently looking to put something in place and what that may look like. Appreciate it!

We have a clinical ladder for LPNs and just accepted cohort 2 recipients.  Our first cohort was in 2021.  It has prompted professional development growth for the LPNs even if an interested LPN did not submit the final portfolio.  Please feel free to contact me for further information or questions.

We have a clinical ladder for LPNs. promotion is similar to our clinical ladder for CMAs and RNs. Promotion includes being the champion of an area, completing a quality improvement project, taking on additional leadership responsibilities (pod leaders, charge, etc.). You can in-line promote from an LPN 1 to a 1A or 1B, but a position for an LPN II must be posted and applied for, as this is technically a leadership position (similar to a CMA III or CN III-IV).
