For patients receiving a contrast injection as part of a radiology test at a free-standing outpatient facility who experience a contrast allergy or extravasation event, who responds and manages the patient for the medical emergency? Is this the same person/people who also respond to non-contrast related medical emergencies in radiology patients in free-standing outpatient locations?

Sure! We have nurses and providers who were not familiar with how to treat contrast reactions respond.  I'm happy to provide how we handle this situation, provide resources, and training etc.
