You are invited to join the September NSI Networking Call!
Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 1 pm ET
Meeting ID: 893 5942 3698
Passcode: 280534
Benchmarking: What is it and How Can it Support the Role of Nursing in Ambulatory Care?
NSI Team Chair Deb Cantlin, MSN, RN, CHFN, will lead a discussion on this important topic.
Prior to the call, please read the attached article on benchmarking in AAACN's latest issue of ViewPoint.
We would like you to consider the following before our discussion:
- Do you have an Ambulatory Nursing Sensitive Indicator you are benchmarking internally or beyond? We are looking for exemplars from colleagues who have been successfully utilizing NSIs and are interested in sharing their journeys.
- What factors have facilitated/promoted your ability to participate in benchmarking NSIs?
- How has this affected patient care, your organization's well-being, and/or your nurse satisfaction/retention rates?
- Are you involved in NSI research?
We hope you can join!
Note: If you'd like to plan ahead, the NSI Team pretty regularly hosts these Networking Calls on the third Wednesday of the month at 1 pm ET. If a monthly call is cancelled, I'll post that info to let you know. I also post the recordings in the NSI Networking Community for anyone who cannot attend.
(The
NSI Networking Community is free to all AAACN members - join today if you have not already!)
