I am working on an orientation redesign for our department.
Right now we do a 5 week orientation that includes various classes, modules and shadowing different roles within the department.
During orientation, do you have a set number of hours the new hires spend with the preceptor?
I understand some people may require more time, but do you have a base number of hours as standard?
How did you decide on that amount of time?
