We are looking to place an RN Navigator in our Family Medicine Residency clinic to help support the staff, residents and patients. This position would assist with triaging phone calls and mychart messages, assist nursing staff with resolving patient concerns and promote clear communication among the care team and treating provider by ensuring awareness regarding patient care plans.
Does anyone utilize RN navigators in a residency clinic? if so, what is their role? Appreciate any information you may have.
