Hello,

I work at a large academic medical center as one of the Nurse Educators for the Ambulatory Clinics. We are in the process of piloting TSAM model orientation for the RN job class and want to pursue this orientation model in all other job classes. Are there any Ambulatory Clinics that use the TSAM orientation model for other job roles beside RN and are you willing to connect to communicate and/or share document/resources. I appreciate any and all feedback.

Hello Amanda,

We adapted our orientation program to a TSAM model that applies to RN, LVN and MA disciplines.  The restructuring of the Orientation and Onboarding was a process, with involvement from key stakeholders, and the development of an ambulatory Preceptor training program.
