I'm curious how other organizations have defined a procedure in ambulatory that is to have a universal time out beforehand.  My question is more for primary care clinics.

    Hello Leslie,

Our organization has a policy for Universal Time Out. We also created a flowsheet to complete the process and documentation in our EMR. I can send you our guiding documents.

    Thank you,
