  • 1.  Use of Earbuds in the Work Place

    Hello

    Does anyone happen to have a policy addressing earbuds in the workplace? Other than the General Duty Clause, OSHA has nothing  specifically pertaining to the Healthcare industry. I found guidance for construction sites, but would love something that relates to patient care areas.

    We have this language in our dress code policy -   

    The use of earphones/earbuds or headphones is not permitted unless it is a necessary
    part of the job.
