who can provide the score on the Ambulatory Nurse Exam?

  • 1.  who can provide the score on the Ambulatory Nurse Exam?

    Thankfully I passed the AMB exam---but the letter did not include

    The score----Who do I contact to answer that question?   Thanks!

    You are not told the score if you pass. If you do not pass I think they tell you where you need to focus more so they tell you how you preformed in each section. I'd love to know how I scored too!!

    Granted, it was awhile ago, I was given the percentile score. Yes, I know I passed and the score told me how well I did compared to those who took the exam.

    When I took the exam 4 1/2 years, the results were electronically available within 5 minutes. I got a "Congratulations , you have passed” statement (paraphrasing). I did not get a percentage score nor a breakdown on where I did poorly. I thought I could get a passing number but it was unavailable.

    The AAACN has a book of practice questions. Mometrix also has a book of practice questions that I found SUPER helpful! I bought my copy on Amazon.

    They also do a review class the day before the annual event and I found thais made taking the test a lot less stressful.

    It is my understanding that you only get pass or fail.  No scores.

    I bought the book on the AAACN website ----about 80-100$ ---I don't remember.

    Two hours every night ---using a VERILUX light.  It has 3 shades of light and

    4 intensity   levels.   Great to focus.---------------thanks!

    Hi Karen,
      I bought the review book and attended the Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Review course taught by E. Mary Johnson and Susan Paschke. It was an on-line course and was great. There were practice tests in the book. Good Luck !!!
