The Nursing Coalition Community has asked for a grassroots effort to ask your elected members in the US House of Representatives to sign on to a Dear Colleague Letter to be circulated to members in the US House of Representatives. This letter is to show support for funding for itle VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs in Fiscal Year (FY) 2027.
Please ask your contacts in the House of Representatives, on both sides of the aisle, to sign onto this Dear Colleague Letter before the Friday, March 13, 2026 deadline. This Dear Colleague Letter - named Strengthen the Nursing Workforce-Support Title VIII is for Members of Congress to show their support for these nursing programs. Should any House congressional staff have questions they can reach out to Josh Izaak in Rep. Bonamici's office (Josh.Izaak@mail.house.gov). We are trying to get as many Representative's signatures as possible before the March 13th deadline.
