We do not require for non-clinical staff, we do however encourage it and offer classes on CPR.

Offered, not required. Knowing CPR is the responsibility of every good Samaritan.  Also, consider (check to see) if non-clinical staff are under a separate union from licensed personnel (depending on the workplace).

We do not require it for non-clinical/registration staff. We do have some clinic sites that are in more rural areas where EMS response times may be longers, or may have clinic hours where there are less clinical team members on site, like weekend or evening hours. In those instances our registration team members often do have BLS training so they can be an extra set of hands in an emergency situation when all hands may be needed.

We do not require it, but if they are already certified we will allow them to attend our recertification classes.

We do not require our non clinical staff to be CPR trained.  We allow them to take advantage of certification offerings, if they so desire.  There may be a few small sites with limited clinical staffing where we strongly encourage non clinical teammates to be CPR certified.  Our job descriptions do not include CPR certification as a requirement.
