Good afternoon,
I am an ambulatory nursing educator in NH and I am looking for any insight into other organizations' requirements for a few items regarding in-office procedures (i.e. IUD placements, punch biopsies etc).
- Do you require vital signs pre- and post-? Is it a full set of vital signs?
- Do you document pre- and post- pain levels? If so, are patients required to remain in the office for re-evaluation of pain?
- Do you have a list of invasive procedures and what is required for each as far as vitals and pain assessment?
