Congratulations Naomi! That's awesome to hear that you passed the Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification! Since the certification is through ANCC, you'll have to check with them about a certificate but I'm more than happy to spread the good news on our social media platforms .  If you want to let me know your handles, I'll be sure to give you proper shout outs!

Any of our other members recently passed the Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification? Be sure to share with other members and any tips/tricks you found helpful. We're in this together! (and don't forget to send me your social media handles for well-deserved accolades!)

    Congrats again,

    Jennie

    Hello all,
I just wanted to give anyone who is still studying for certification exam my resources.  I studied the following materials; Quizlet study practice questions, matching & flashcards, ANCC Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Karen Danvers-Perez, Mometrix Ambulatory Care Nursing Exam Practice Questions: Practice Tests and Review for the Ambulatory Care Nurse Exam, Mometrix Flashcards, Knowledge Testing.com Ambulatory Nursing Certification Review 2000 Qs, Ambulatory Care Nursing Review Questions Book, Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing 4th Edition Book (read whole book), Scope and Standards Of Practice for Professional Ambulatory Care Nursing Book (read whole book) and Ambulatory Care Nursing Review Course. I studied quite often for hours at a time. I'd even do practice questions during my lunch hour or down time at work.  But please keep in mind, not everyone studies the same way. I also meditate which helps keep me calm. I did fail exam the first time when I took it in April but I truly feel it was because I was so nervous and went through the test too fast. This time, I was very calm and took my time. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can do this!!!!
Have a wonderful day & good luck!
    Naomi :)

Congratulations! I also recently passed my Ambulatory Certification exam the beginning of June. I did receive a certificate and pin in the mail about 3 weeks after my exam, so hopefully you should be getting this soon.

To prepare for my exam, I attended the AAACN Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Review class at the AAACN 2022 Conference in Las Vegas (and rewatched it several times), Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing 4th Edition Book, Ambulatory Care Nursing Review Questions and Mometrix Ambulatory Care Nursing Exam Practice Questions: Practice Tests and Review for the Ambulatory Care Nurse Exam. I felt the practice questions were helpful for me as it had been many years since I took my Nursing Boards and was a great way to review how to answer those types of questions. I really liked that the Ambulatory Care Nursing Review Questions told you what page to go to in the Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing the question information was on, that way if I either answered incorrectly or had to guess, I knew where to look to review the material. I started gradually studying for the exam following the review class in May 2022 and then took the entire week off work prior to my test to allow myself to only focus on my test prep.
