Hi,

Curious if anyone has staffing/productivity metrics for triage nursing (i.e. calls/nurse, average handle time, wrap up time, occupancy, how quick to answer call, etc.)?

Hello-the triage call center industry standard is 3-5 calls per hour but yes it does depend on if your team is doing formal triage and what type of clinical calls are coming in.

I would be interested in learning what is out there. I find it difficult to apply norms across the board given the difference in acuity from our geriatric practice to our pediatric practice for example.
